Vehicle-Specific Fit

Precisely shaped to follow the bonnet contours of the specified vehicle, each LED bonnet protector provides a secure fit and a purpose-built appearance.

The tailored design integrates neatly with the vehicle’s original front-end styling.

Protection at the Leading Edge

The durable protector helps shield the bonnet’s exposed front edge from stones, insects and road debris encountered during everyday driving.

It provides an additional layer of protection for daily driving, highway travel and off-road use.

Integrated Amber LED Lighting

Built-in amber LEDs work in sync with the vehicle’s parking and indicator lights, helping improve vehicle visibility while adding a distinctive illuminated detail.

Securely fitted with automotive-grade adhesive and connected to the existing lighting system—no drilling or cutting of the bodywork required.

FAQs About Bonnet Protectors

Will the bonnet protector fit my specific vehicle?

Each bonnet protector is designed for the makes, models and production years stated in the product listing. Use our Shop by Car tool to find the correct option and check any model-generation or fitment notes carefully. If you are unsure, please contact us before ordering.

What does a bonnet protector protect against?

It helps shield the bonnet’s exposed leading edge from stones, insects and loose road debris, reducing the risk of chips, scratches and marks on the protected paintwork. While it provides an additional layer of bonnet protection, it cannot prevent every impact or protect areas it does not cover.

What are OAD4X4 bonnet protectors made from?

Most of our bonnet protectors are made from durable, UV-stabilised ABS, while selected models use high-quality acrylic. The material, finish and profile are shown in the individual product listing.

What is the difference between classic and LED bonnet protectors?

Both styles help protect the bonnet’s leading edge. LED models also feature built-in amber lighting that works in sync with the vehicle’s parking and indicator lights, helping improve vehicle visibility while adding a distinctive illuminated appearance. LED options are available for selected vehicles only.

How are the bonnet protectors installed?

Most models use pre-applied automotive-grade adhesive, while a small number of vehicle-specific designs are secured with clips. Both methods provide a secure fit without drilling or permanent modification to the vehicle’s bodywork. If you need assistance, our customer support team can provide guidance for your specific product.

Do LED bonnet protectors require professional installation?

LED models require connection to the vehicle’s existing lighting system. Professional installation is recommended to ensure the parking-light and indicator functions are connected and operating correctly. Owners should also confirm that the installation and use comply with the vehicle-lighting regulations applicable in their state or territory.

Are bonnet protectors car-wash safe and easy to clean?

Yes. When correctly installed and securely attached, the bonnet protector is suitable for normal vehicle washing. Adhesive-mounted products should be allowed sufficient time to bond before washing. To clean the surface, use mild soapy water and a soft cloth or sponge, avoiding harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaning tools.
