Weather Shields FAQs – Protection | Comfort | Ventilation

Will these window rain guards fit my specific car model?

Yes! We carry stock for hundreds of vehicles, including the latest 2025-2026 models and older classics. Simply use our "Shop by Car" tool to find the exact match for your make, model, and year. If you are unsure or need help confirming the correct fitment for your specific vehicle, please feel free to contact us—our team is happy to assist you.

What material are the window deflectors made from?

Our weather shields are made from high-impact, UV-stable acrylic, built to handle harsh Australian conditions without fading or cracking over time. The material offers excellent durability while maintaining a sleek, tinted finish that enhances your vehicle’s overall look.

How difficult is the installation process?

Installation is a breeze!

Most weather shields use automotive-grade 3M adhesive—simply clean the surface, peel, and stick. Some models also include clips for extra security, which are easy to install.

Both methods are beginner-friendly, with no drilling required. For a step-by-step installation guide, visit our Weather Shields Installation Guide.

Where is my order shipped from?

All orders are processed and shipped from our local Australian warehouses with effective, real-time tracking codes. This ensures fast delivery times across the country, from Sydney and Melbourne to Perth and the Northern Territory.

Are they car-wash safe?

Absolutely. Because we use high-quality, impact-resistant acrylic and industrial-strength adhesives, our shields are designed to stay secure through both touchless and brush car washes, provided they were installed correctly.

Is it really necessary to install weather shields?

While not a factory requirement, they are an essential upgrade for the Australian climate. Weather shields provide a practical, multi-functional solution by allowing for fresh air circulation during rain, reducing cabin heat soak while parked, and significantly cutting down on wind buffeting at highway speeds. For drivers who value a more comfortable, fog-free cabin environment, they are a highly recommended investment.

Will installing weather shields obstruct my visibility?

Not at all. Our weather shields are made from high-clarity, tinted acrylic. This ensures that while they effectively block harsh sun glare from the side, they do not interfere with your primary field of vision or side-mirror visibility. The tint is optimized to provide protection without compromising safety, ensuring a clear view of the road in all driving conditions.
