What is the difference between a one-piece ute mat and a 5-piece tub liner?

A one-piece ute mat covers the tub floor and can be quickly installed or removed. A 5-piece tub liner provides more comprehensive coverage across the floor, both side walls, the front wall and the tailgate.

Can I install the mat over my factory plastic tub liner?

Many of our one-piece ute mats are designed to fit over the vehicle’s factory plastic tub liner. Compatibility varies by model, so always check the individual product description before ordering.

Can a 5-piece tub liner be installed over an existing liner?

Our 5-piece tub liners are generally designed for vehicles with a bare tub. An existing plastic, carpet or aftermarket liner may need to be removed. Some sports bars and tub-mounted accessories may also affect installation, so check the product listing carefully.

No drilling is required. One-piece ute mats simply drop into position. Five-piece tub liners are designed to fit within the tub, with the tailgate section typically secured using the vehicle’s existing factory screws or mounting points.
